WHAT MAKES ME A PROGRESSIVE PRINCIPAL
Working in urban and rural pockets has different challenges but working in the most underdeveloped part of the country i.e., KBK region is a challenge with a difference. Again establishing and running a school in the rural pockets of Kalahandi district of Odisha and getting CBSE affiliation is my dream come true. Well it was a journey from a very meager number to a senior secondary school is because of ceaseless effort my hardwork and sincerity that has resulted in success.
Again at the secondary level giving the KBK topper in class XII science is the result of providing quality education. Ours is the only complete digital school in the region with all round facilities including sports and games. In a short period of time we have been able to attract students from nearby vicinity is another feather to our cap of success.
It’s pertinent to mention here that being progressive is not the limit in itself. It in fact sets out the sky as the limit. Therefore to provide the same spirit of education we have opened schools at the various thickly tribal polluted places including the remotest part of this district i.e., Thuamul Rampur.
As a progressive principal I remain in search for exceptional talents by conducting talent search programmes and provide scholarship and sometimes almost free education. Kalahandi was much known for its poverty and starvation and at this place I have dreamt to make it a paradise of education.
MY MISSION AS A PROGRESSIVE PRINCIPAL OF INDIA
Learning is an endless process having goals at different levels and points and therefore, preparing the learners to reach the goals with ease and interest should be the mission having the vision to make them become global citizens with sense of understanding as a fellow man to one and all. Therefore, I make my aim of life to provide quality education and make my students a complete individual each with a human touch.

I always encourage and train my faculty to provide the proper platform to the students for their area of interest so that they may achieve their goals.

I always invite their opinion and involve them in taking decision and as a key stakeholder they are ever part of managing school as owners.
PROBLEM SOLVING & CRITICAL THINKING AMIDST THE FACULTY
In my opinion every problem comes with its solution. We learn more about the problem with face to face experience. In order to solve a problem I do engage the concerned stakeholders. I don’t speak out the decision making criteria or constraints, but I make them a part of the process as needed. I leave the constants out because I think they might help people to think creatively and innovatively about solutions. I also look at the assumption of current solution. I take feedback and work on it. I compare the options of advantages and disadvantages.
GROUP WORK AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SKILLS AMIDST THE FACULTY
As I am serving in one of the most rural parts of my country it’s my first priority to form a group to work together for the betterment of society and I took the first step ahead to open chain of school with a group of people who are working together for its development.
UNDERSTANDING & ACTION BASED LEARNING
I believe that learning should be based on freedom. Students should be given freedom. Education is a man making process. It explores the innate power that exists within man and it is not an imposition but a liberal process that provides utmost freedom for development.
COLLABORATIVE & COOPERATIVE LEARNING PROJECTS FOR FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
We established open classroom learning and Hands on learning lab. Learners actively participate and Diversity is celebrated. Students are invested in their own learning Students learn skills for resolving conflicts. Research tools such as internet access are made available.
EDUCATION ACCENTUATING SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFEGUARDING DEMOCRACY
Students and teachers are free to give their views and suggestions and are equally respected by the management. They may employ practices like self directed learning, shared decision making, individualized project based work. Learning in an engaging and participating environment is not just for the privileged few because equality and justice are its score.
DESIGN & DELIVERY OF A LEARNING ECOSYSTEM WHEREBY HIGHLY PERSONALIZED LEARNING ACCOUNTING IS DONE FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL’S PERSONAL GOALS
We provide learning opportunity to our students according to VARK learning style where student motivation is an essential element that is necessary for equality education. The environment needs to be accessible, save, position, personalised as much as possible and empowering. Motivation is optimised when students are exposed to large number of this motivating experiences on variables on regular basis.
INTEGRATION OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AND SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS INTO THE DAILY CURRICULUM
Field trip is the best medium to provide students an opportunity to go down to earth and see the real picture and problems faced by community. As I believe in learning by doing method I always promote students first to become human beings and according to their curriculum task assignment are given them and they enjoy their projects.

Globally the world of work is changing faster and more drastically than at perhaps any other time in recent history. To get a better understanding of the skills needed for the jobs of future I remain at the forefront of innovative and creative practices in education.

In our school we have trained facilitators who work with students with their interpersonal relationships which make them feel to learning and teaching process is not only teaching but also learning process where they learn from their students to guide them with updation in their skills.

Students should not only be measured by their academic improvement but also be assessed by participation and completion as a successful personality. Faculty Assessment programmes have built-in professional structures and they bring out their inner qualities having an exposure with a positive reflection in the society.
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY TO FACULTY EMPOWERMENT
Speech and action should be identical. Work only on the living self and not on inert things. With this philosophy and by the grace of supreme power I am working to augment the future of my country.
